How 98%Chimp Inc. ("Argus", "we") handles the data involved in running the Argus feature-flag platform and this marketing site.

1. Who we are
Argus is operated by 98%Chimp Inc., a company incorporated in Canada. Questions about this policy or your data go to privacy@projectargus.cloud.
2. What we collect
- Account data — when you sign in to the Argus app, your name, email, and authentication identifier (via Google Sign-In / Firebase Authentication).
- Workspace data — the feature flags, products, tenants, conditions, and audit records you create. This is content you control; we process it to provide the service.
- Operational logs — request metadata and error reports used to keep the service reliable. Error reports are scrubbed of emails, IP addresses, and authorization headers before storage.
- Contact data — if you email us or submit the pilot form, the details you choose to share.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
3. How we use it
To operate, secure, and improve the service; to authenticate you and enforce role-based access; to write the audit records the product depends on; to respond to support and pilot requests; and to meet legal obligations.
4. Subprocessors
We rely on a small set of infrastructure providers. Each processes data only to deliver their part of the service:
- Google Cloud — Firestore · data plane & change log (multi-region US/EU).
- Google Cloud — Cloud Functions · approval enforcement and audit writes.
- Google Cloud — Firebase Authentication · sign-in.
- Cloudflare · marketing-site CDN.
5. Retention
Workspace and audit data are retained for the life of your account and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal and security obligations, then deleted or anonymised. You can request export or deletion at any time.
6. Security
Access is gated by tenant-scoped RBAC; production-impacting changes require a second approver; audit rows are append-only. See the Security page for the current posture, including our SOC 2 status.
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email privacy@projectargus.cloud and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
8. Cookies
This marketing site uses only what is necessary to serve pages and remember essential preferences. The Argus app uses a session cookie/token to keep you signed in. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
9. Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the "last updated" date above. Material changes affecting account holders will be communicated directly.
